Therapy + Yoga
Yoga opens the Mind/body
Therapy helps integrate
As a somatically trained therapist and lover of yoga I have grown passionate and fascinated by the deep insights that come from combining mental health work and yoga.
If you are interested in yoga, or have an ongoing practice let me know and we can discuss the collaboration of insights into your treatment of anxiety, trauma, depression, depth work, insight building.
parts work
Look deeper into different parts of yourself while in yoga, learn to witness parts with compassion in that space, explore insights, discovered parts an experience in therapy to integrate, build upon and continue ongoing relationship to parts.
Collaborative modalities
Combining these two self-care modalities, you may find insights into your self have a profound impact. The physical movements and mental health guidance enhance self-curiosity, body and mind awareness.
Informed Facilitation
While not a yoga teacher, I have practiced yoga for nearly 20 years. I participated in a trauma-informed yoga training through the Prison Yoga Project. I utilize elements from both therapy and yoga practice to encourage a rich depth experience of self. Learn more about somatics here.
